According to the Israel Defense Forces, Hezbollah fired more than 120 rockets into Israeli territory on Sunday from Lebanon.
This evening, a CNN crew in Beirut saw several explosions over the horizon.
Israeli planes were claimed to have targeted the Roueiss neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs, according to the state-run National News Agency of Lebanon.
Recall that Israel has initiated a massive bombing campaign against Hezbollah, a militant organization supported by Iran that has a sizable presence in the southern suburbs of the country's capital. The bombing by Israel has driven thousands of Lebanese civilians from their country.
Tens of thousands of people have also been forced to flee northern Israel as a result of Hezbollah's rocket fire into that region.
